LUCKY WHEEL GAME

We are collaborating with Taste NZ, a platform with 40,000 followers to create a Lucky Wheel online game during NZ Week. This will involve customers scanning a QR code on their phone when they are in a participating NZ Week venue, they will then play a lucky wheel game to win NZ prizes.

Brands who sponsor products will gain exposure on the taste NZ platform, tapping into a community of NZ F&B lovers.

Therefore we need small prizes to give away, we are looking for quantity oner quality as the game is designed for frequent wins. Small, low value fun gifts are ideal.

NZC SHOWROOM For those showcasing product in the NZC showroom you should have received an email from Benjamin.Sudmann@nzte.govt.nz. You need to complete this online survey by July 24th to confirm your participation and to tell NZC which products and how many SKUs you are interested in displaying. They need three of each product for the display and maximum five SKUs per company. This will be the only opportunity to confirm your participation in this event as they will design the showcase based on the feedback from this survey. If you don't complete this survey, you will be removed from the showroom.

NZ FARMER'S MARKET

Concept: This year we will run a two-day NZ Farmer’s market at the NZ Oravida Pavilion during the final weekend of CIIE (Nov 9-10) where the expo is open to the public. The market would give brands a direct sales and tasting opportunity to Chinese consumers.

When: November 9th and 10th

Opportunity: Two sales opportunities. 1) Sell product to consume on sire 2) Sell products to take home.

THE WESTIN KIWI BRUNCH

Concept: For New Zealand Week, The famous Westin champagne brunch will be dressed head-to-toe Kiwi. Every year we fill the place with NZ food, beverage and entertainment. Enjoy a delicious unlimited buffet selection featuring sustainable seafood, grass-fed lamb and beef, fresh kiwifruits (of course), creamy ice-cream, cold craft beers and New World wines.

Opportunity: Showcase your products, new recipe creation and host your team or contacts at high end Kiwi themed event.

When: November 10th 11am-3pm at The Westin Hotel Shanghai

MARRIOTT HOTELS

Time period: Oct 28th – Nov 17th Interested in: Brands who have access to preferred suppliers for Marriott can start pitching the individual hotels who have signed up. Individual Marriott hotels will contact brands that they are interested in testing directly based on the catalogue.

Marriott may require a level of product discount during NZ Week in exchange for some specific branding. They will appreciate if exporters host dinners in their hotels during the promotion period and promote their menus on their own social media.

Action required: Have distributors get in touch with participating hotels to make sure they are on the menu, consider what support you’re able to offer
