NZ Week started with a bang on 4th November. With a high brow guest list of the best in the business, canapés showcasing NZ brands catered by the Marriott, live oyster shucking and top NZ wines, beers and ciders on offer, this was the event of the season. After a special Kapa Haka performance and speeches from MFAT, chef Demo by dreamy Josh Emmet and live music from MMQ livened things up as the night went on. Great networking opportunity for all.

Bringing the Kiwi food culture to life is New Zealand celebrity chef Josh Emett who will be in Shanghai for the week as NZ brand ambassador. Josh is a former co-worker of Gordon Ramsay at Guide Michelin-acclaimed Claridge's and judged on MasterChef New Zealand before founding the Rata restaurant chain. He’ll be running workshops with local chefs highlighting what’s special about New Zealand products, shooting recipe videos and spending time with local partners and New Zealand brands.
