Week



New Zealand Week is a Shanghai-based promotion of New Zealand food, beverage and culture.

NZ week is an initiative of New Zealand Trade & Enterprise with support from the extended New Zealand community including dozens of NZ food & beverage companies. We may be a small country of just 4 million but for New Zealand Week we pitch together and punch above our weight to make our mark on China.

New Zealand Week is known colloquially as “Kiwi Week”, which refers to the delicious fruit, the cute, native bird, and more importantly, the people. Kiwis are a group of special people from an island in the corner of the Pacific Ocean, guardians of some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes, pristine food and generous open-hearted people. The 10-day festival, which grew from the success of the annual Kiwi Brunch at the Westin Bund Center, started 9 years ago, and has expanded exponentially each year with new venues, cities and features, becoming an increasingly important initiative on the Food and Beverage calendar in China.
